Field Trips

Museum Field Trip Programs:
Time: 90 minutes
Cost: $3.50 per Student and $1.00  per Adult

Objectives: To provide multilingual and multicultural experiences to
the students and help them prepare for a global society.
The Program includes:

  • 20-30 minute tour of the museum
  • Greetings in representative Asian languages
  • Story-telling (age related)
  • Introduction to Chinese writing (age related)
  • Origami
  • Story of chopsticks and demonstration of their uses
  • Fashion Show of Asian clothing

Programs can be modified and enhanced to meet the specific needs of your curriculum, whether the class is studying a particular country, aspect of culture, or historical period.

Teachers will receive a packet for post field trip activities and
chopsticks for each student.
